Bulk Editor

The Bulk Editor is the core feature of Vibe SEO Meta. It lets you view and edit SEO metadata for every product, collection, page, and blog article in your store — all from one screen.

Tabs at the top of the editor switch between resource types:

  • Products — meta title, meta description, and image alt text.
  • Collections — meta title and meta description.
  • Pages — meta title and meta description.
  • Blogs — meta title, meta description, and image alt text (for featured images).

Each resource row shows:

  • A thumbnail (for products and blogs with images).
  • The resource name (product title, collection title, etc.).
  • An SEO score badge — color-coded Good / Fair / Missing.
  • Editable fields for Meta Title, Meta Description, and Image Alt Text (where applicable).

Click any text field to start editing. Changes are tracked locally and marked with an Edited badge.

Each field displays a real-time character counter showing current / min–max:

FieldIdeal range
Meta Title50–60 characters
Meta Description120–160 characters
Image Alt Text1–125 characters

The counter color indicates how close you are to the ideal range:

  • Green — within the ideal range.
  • Yellow — within 10 characters of the boundary.
  • Red — far outside the ideal range.

When you have unsaved edits, the app shows:

  • A banner at the top: “X unsaved changes”.
  • A sticky action bar at the bottom with Save, Discard, and AI fill all buttons.
  • The Save X changes button in the top-right corner.

Click Save to push all pending changes to Shopify via the Admin API. A success banner confirms the save, or a warning banner appears if some items failed.

Click Discard to clear all pending edits without saving. If you switch tabs with unsaved changes, a confirmation dialog warns you before discarding.

Type in the search field to filter resources by name. Results update when you click Search or press Enter.

Filter resources by their SEO health:

  • All — show everything.
  • Missing meta — resources with no title and no description.
  • Needs work — resources with some meta but outside ideal character lengths.
  • Good SEO — resources with optimally sized title and description.

This filter checks across your entire catalog (up to 250 items across all pages), not just the current page.

When viewing the Products tab, two additional filters appear:

  • Status — Active, Draft, or Archived.
  • Collection — filter by any collection in your store.

All filters can be combined (e.g., “Active products in the ‘Shoes’ collection with missing meta”).

Choose how many resources to display per page: 10, 25, or 50. Use the Previous / Next buttons to navigate through pages.
