Section titled “What does Vibe SEO Meta do?”It lets you edit meta titles, meta descriptions, and image alt text for every product, collection, page, and blog article in your Shopify store from a single bulk editor. AI-powered suggestions help you generate SEO-optimized content at recommended character lengths.
Do I need to know SEO to use this app?
Section titled “Do I need to know SEO to use this app?”No. The app enforces best-practice character lengths, shows a live Google preview, and color-codes every resource by SEO score so you know what needs attention. AI suggestions follow SEO guidelines automatically.
Which Shopify resource types are supported?
Section titled “Which Shopify resource types are supported?”Products, Collections, Pages, and Blog Articles. All four are available on every plan.
Does the app change anything on my store automatically?
Section titled “Does the app change anything on my store automatically?”No. All changes are pending until you click Save. AI suggestions are generated into editable fields — nothing is applied without your approval.
AI Suggestions
Section titled “AI Suggestions”How do AI suggestions work?
Section titled “How do AI suggestions work?”Click the AI button on any field (or use Bulk AI Fill for a whole page). The app sends the resource name and description to an AI model, which returns optimized text within ideal character ranges. You review and save — nothing is applied without your approval.
Which AI model is used?
Section titled “Which AI model is used?”The built-in model depends on how the app is configured. On the Pro + BYOK plan, you choose your own model from Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Google Gemini.
What counts as one AI suggestion?
Section titled “What counts as one AI suggestion?”Each field generated counts as one suggestion. Generating a meta title and a meta description for one product = 2 suggestions. See Usage counting for details.
I hit my AI suggestion limit. What can I do?
Section titled “I hit my AI suggestion limit. What can I do?”You can upgrade your plan for a higher limit, or switch to the Pro + BYOK plan for unlimited suggestions using your own API key. Your usage resets at the start of each billing cycle.
Data & Privacy
Section titled “Data & Privacy”Is my data safe?
Section titled “Is my data safe?”Yes. The app stores only your shop domain, plan, usage counts, and (for BYOK plans) your encrypted AI API key. No customer data, no order data, no PII.
How are BYOK API keys stored?
Section titled “How are BYOK API keys stored?”API keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and decrypted only at the moment of an AI request. They are never logged, cached, or exposed in API responses. See BYOK security for details.
Does the app access my customer or order data?
Section titled “Does the app access my customer or order data?”No. The app only accesses product, collection, page, and blog data through Shopify’s Admin API — the minimum required to edit meta tags and image alt text.
Billing
Section titled “Billing”Can I cancel anytime?
Section titled “Can I cancel anytime?”Yes. Switch plans or downgrade to Free at any time from the Pricing page. Shopify handles billing — no external payment needed. There are no setup fees or long-term contracts.
How is billing handled?
Section titled “How is billing handled?”All payments go through Shopify’s Subscriptions API. You’ll see the charge on your Shopify bill, just like any other app. No external payment account is needed.
When should I choose Pro + BYOK over Pro?
Section titled “When should I choose Pro + BYOK over Pro?”If you need unlimited AI suggestions and already have an API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini, BYOK costs less per month and scales with your own API quota. You pay the AI provider directly for usage.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”My changes aren’t saving
Section titled “My changes aren’t saving”Make sure you click the Save button after making edits. If the save fails, check that you haven’t exceeded your monthly bulk edit limit (Free plan: 50 edits/month).
AI suggestions are slow or failing
Section titled “AI suggestions are slow or failing”AI suggestions are rate-limited to 30 requests per minute per shop. If you’re using Bulk AI Fill on a large page, wait for the current batch to finish before starting another. For BYOK users, check that your API key is valid and has sufficient credits with the provider.
CSV import shows 0 changes
Section titled “CSV import shows 0 changes”The import matches rows by ID to resources on the current page of the Bulk Editor. Make sure the resource IDs in your CSV match the items currently loaded. Navigate to the correct page or adjust your filters.
The SEO score filter shows no results
Section titled “The SEO score filter shows no results”The filter checks up to 250 resources across your catalog. If your store has more resources than that and matches are beyond this range, try combining the score filter with a search term or other filters to narrow results.
