Bulk Actions
Vibebun Image Optimizer supports bulk operations so you can process many images at once instead of clicking through them one by one.
Selecting images
Section titled “Selecting images”Use the checkboxes in the image browser to select individual images. A sticky action bar appears at the bottom of the screen when you have images selected, showing:
- How many images are selected
- Available bulk actions
You can also use the select all checkbox to select every image on the current page.
Available bulk actions
Section titled “Available bulk actions”All plans
Section titled “All plans”- Optimize selected — optimize all selected images that haven’t been optimized yet
- Rollback selected — roll back all selected images that have been optimized
Advanced plan only
Section titled “Advanced plan only”- Optimize all on page — optimize every eligible image on the current page (no selection needed)
- Rollback all on page — roll back every optimized image on the current page (no selection needed)
Concurrent processing
Section titled “Concurrent processing”When you bulk-optimize images, they’re processed in a concurrent pool. The number of images processed simultaneously depends on your plan:
| Plan | Concurrent optimizations |
|---|---|
| Free | 3 |
| Basic | 5 |
| Advanced | 10 |
Images beyond the concurrent limit are automatically queued and processed as slots free up. You’ll see real-time progress as each image completes.
Quota enforcement
Section titled “Quota enforcement”Bulk operations respect your monthly quota. If you select 20 images but only have 5 optimizations remaining, only 5 will be processed. The app checks your remaining quota server-side before starting each optimization.
Tips for bulk optimization
Section titled “Tips for bulk optimization”- Start with the largest images — use the “Over target KB” filter to find the biggest files first. These give you the most savings per optimization.
- Work page by page — on the Advanced plan, use “Optimize all on page” to process 50 images at a time.
- Monitor progress — the image browser updates in real time as each image finishes processing. You can see the savings inline.
- Rollbacks are free — if something doesn’t look right, bulk rollback doesn’t count against your quota.
