Plans and Billing
Vibebun Image Optimizer offers three plans to match your store’s needs. Billing is handled entirely through Shopify’s managed pricing — no separate payment setup required.

Free plan
Section titled “Free plan”The Free plan lets you try image optimization at no cost. You get 50 optimizations per month with 3 concurrent processing slots. This is ideal for:
- Small stores with fewer than 50 product images
- Trying out the app before committing to a paid plan
- Stores that only need occasional image optimization
The Free plan includes all core features — optimization, rollback, settings, and the dashboard. The main limitations are the monthly quota and the absence of AI alt text.
Basic plan
Section titled “Basic plan”The Basic plan is designed for growing stores with larger catalogs. You get:
- 1,000 optimizations/month — enough for most medium-sized stores
- 200 AI alt-text suggestions/month — generate descriptive alt text with Claude, GPT-4o, or Gemini
- 5 concurrent optimizations — faster bulk processing
- Bulk AI alt text — generate alt text for multiple images at once
Advanced plan
Section titled “Advanced plan”The Advanced plan is for high-volume stores that need maximum throughput:
- 3,000 optimizations/month — handle large catalogs
- 500 AI alt-text suggestions/month — more AI capacity
- 10 concurrent optimizations — fastest processing speed
- Bulk all on page — optimize or roll back every image on a page with one click
Changing your plan
Section titled “Changing your plan”Upgrading
Section titled “Upgrading”- Navigate to Plan in the sidebar.
- Click the button for the plan you want to upgrade to.
- Shopify redirects you to the subscription approval page.
- Confirm the subscription. Your new plan takes effect immediately.
Downgrading
Section titled “Downgrading”- Navigate to Plan in the sidebar.
- Click the button for the plan you want to downgrade to (including Free).
- For downgrading to Free, your active subscription is cancelled with proration — you’ll receive a prorated credit for the unused portion of your billing cycle.
Cancelling
Section titled “Cancelling”To cancel your subscription entirely, downgrade to the Free plan. Your optimized images remain on your store — only the ability to optimize new images reverts to the Free-tier limit (50/month).
Billing cycle
Section titled “Billing cycle”- Billing is managed by Shopify. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice.
- Your monthly quota resets on your billing-cycle anniversary — the date you first subscribed — not the first of each calendar month.
- There are no hidden fees, setup costs, or long-term contracts.
What happens when you hit your quota?
Section titled “What happens when you hit your quota?”When you reach your monthly optimization limit:
- The server prevents further optimizations until the quota resets.
- The UI shows your remaining quota so you know when you’re approaching the limit.
- Rollbacks, alt-text edits, and manual changes continue to work — they don’t count against the quota.
- You can upgrade your plan at any time to get more optimizations immediately.
